Tonight, 
innie_darling and I are going to see Neil Gaiman at NYPL. It seems fitting.
I'm sure I've mentioned that I'm not a big Halloween person, partly because it's my mother's birthday, so I never really got to do much fun stuff - there was always dinner with the fam or cake etc. and the few years I skipped, my dad got really passive-aggressive about it (my mother, surprisingly, never did). I miss my mother. She would have been 79 today.

* 15 Avengers
* 2 Crossovers
* 1 Arrow, 1 Legend of Korra, and 1 Harry Potter
Not a whole lot - I am way behind on fic-reading. I just haven't had much energy for anything lately.

Elementary: Enough Nemesis to Go Around
JOAN! JOAN IS BATMAN.
Ugh, after the whole mess with Mycroft that tainted last season, this felt like a stunning breath of fresh air. Joan as the main POV character! Joan BAMFing it up as a detective! Joan having her own master criminal nemesis in Gina Gershon, who I hope returns for sweeps with her purring threats to Joan's life. Joan and her cute boyfriend and their lizard-turtle meet-cute! CLYDE! Sherlock apologizing and yet still completely blundering in his conversations with Joan! Gregson telling him they were never friends! I think the only relationship we didn't check in on was Sherlock-Bell, which is a shame. But I love Bell and Joan as partners.
I feel like this sets up some nice new arcs for character development and new areas for their relationship to explore without regressing either Joan or Sherlock.
