Another ridiculously hectic day at work, the highlight of which was a member of the NY City Council asking the Commissioner of Health what he plans to do about the 17-year cicada problem we're going to have this year, because kids are scared of them. Since the commissioner is not Moses, I'm not sure what the expected answer was, and neither was the commissioner.

*okay, since Animal Control is under the purview of DOHMH, I suppose it was not really that unreasonable, but I was not the only one in the audience stifling laughter when it was asked.
