searching for light in the darkness of insanity
I'm at work, which was probably not a bad idea, since I do feel a lot better than I did, but let me tell you, getting out the door was no picnic (violent coughing fits, boo!) and a nauseating subway ride made me reconsider. I don't generally get motion sickness - in fact, I find it all too easy to fall asleep on the subway, because the motion is gently lulling, and I usually don't mind buses, though in stop-and-go rush hour traffic, I occasionally feel queasy - but when I'm sick, everything makes me queasy. I forewent coffee in favor of ginger ale as this morning's beverage.
