Bob! With a new album out! And writing an autobiography! I haven't seen him in concert in ages, but apparently he's started playing Hüsker Dü songs in concert for the first time since the band broke up!
While I'm a little sad I won't be seeing him tonight, I'm also at a point where I don't know if I can do a standing room only show at Irving Plaza anymore. *is old* For Bob I would probably try, though. Especially if he's doing Sugar stuff too (which he was back when I saw him repeatedly in the late '90s).
I feel Bob Mould is one of the best and most underrated American songwriters out there. Also, he rocks out in concert. I highly recommend seeing him if you get a chance.
