Things. And also, stuff.
+ I keep thinking that the more I write casefile type stories, the easier they will get, BUT NO. I am still constantly in a state of "BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THIS!" I still feel like I am much better at writing romances - all the case-stuff in my casefiles feels really half-assed to me, even the ones I really like and think turned out well. I think it's kind of obvious that the cases are always just there so I can hang a lot of banter and emoporn on them (not unlike the show, actually *snerk*). However, as I have a number of casefile-type stores in the pipeline, I will have to keep going.
+ Which brings me to the fact that I think Kripke and I are on a wavelength again, because I have a story where Dean steps in as the field hockey coach at an all-girls prep school, but I did not even conceive of making him wear short nylon running shorts (well, I don't know that that's what they actually are, but I am taking a shot in the dark. Hopefully in some truly heinous bright yellow or green. Bright blue would be slightly less embarrassing, but still amusing). (actually, I also have the ice hockey story where Dean ends up coaching peewee hockey. Um. It's kind of a thing, apparently.) And I have an vague paragraph description of a story I was thinking about writing for summergen in which Sam and Dean go back to a town they lived in when Dean was in high school, because there are weird murders happening, and they run into people who knew them when. Obviously, I must write these stories over hiatus before they happen on the show.
+ Speaking of which. You can read about it here (disclaimer: I did not actually read the sides myself, just the post hitting the highlights *snerk*), and seriously, I tend towards thinking it's Kripke fucking with his fanbase, and that particular line will never air, at least, not in that formulation, but that part interests me less than the bit about the FIGHTING. THEY ARE GOING TO FIGHT. FINALLY. Not just Dean throwing a punch and Sam taking it, but some serious brawling! I hope! Preferably with their shirts off! What? You have your needs, I have mine. Ahem.
+ Speaking of needs, specifically, mine, can anybody share with me either (or both) of the following songs: Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon and/or Keep Yourself Warm by Frightened Rabbit?
