I've experienced that awful feeling too with objects from the past. I usually pass them up, but a few times I've brought them home by accident (like when they ride in with a box lot of good, happy stuff...).

One time, I had a box lot of really old Christmas ornaments from the turn of the century. I kept getting this weird dizzy, naseous feeling(a lot like your daughter...). I also kept getting flashes of someone who was very sick for a long time and whenever I would flash on that, the lights would start to dim, I would feel like I was burning up with a fever, choking and about ready to die. It was horrible! I got rid of that stuff as fast as possible...and really hope that it went to someone who isn't as sensitive as I am.

Maybe I should have sold it as "haunted"...that stuff goes for big bucks. I have no idea why someone whould want to pay all of that money to be haunted though. :-(

I understand fully about your daughter getting sick around the nazi uniform. I can't even stand being in the same room with that kind of stuff. It makes me sick too. I avoid military and gun auctions like the plague. One time I made the mistake of going to one, because there were other things I wanted to buy....and I started freaking out and crying for no reason and had bloody nightmares for weeks afterward.

I agree with you, why would anyone want to be haunted?! I tend to go towards what feels good and try to stay away from what feels yucky.

No military or gun auctions for me either. Visited a Civil War battle field and it was overwhelming.
