This has happened A LOT! Sometimes I even hear the person talking to me in my head and telling me little stories about each object that they used to own- where it came from, how they feel about it etc... I'm either totally off my rocker, very psychic or have an overactive imagination! ;-)

I believe there is a lot of residual energy left on things. I love to walk through a flea market and just touch stuff. Most items feel so good but a few things feel awful.
When my daughter was in high school a teacher brought a uniform from an officer who served at a concentration camp. Daughter touched it and almost threw up.
Off our rockers? very psychic? overactive imagination? hmmmm maybe a little of all 3 ; ) LOL!
I've experienced that awful feeling too with objects from the past. I usually pass them up, but a few times I've brought them home by accident (like when they ride in with a box lot of good,happy stuff
