Little Jaejoong and little Yunho were walking together, chatting cheerfully after they finally arrived at their cabin. Little Yunho let go off his best friend’s hand when he tightened his scarf around his neck. It was true that the weather here wasn’t the same as at the beach! And he wasn’t already used to this drastic change of climate.
“… And Joongie wants to ski! But Joongie has to call Mommy and oh! Joongie wants cookies!” Jaejoong kept talking, his sentences clearly not linked together.
He didn’t hear his friend replying, that was weird. When he turned to his buddy, nobody was behind him. Where was his Yunnie? He called him but no answer…
“Come on Yunnie… It’s not funny…” he whined while pouting. “Joongie didn’t know Yunnie wanted to play hide-and-seek…”
It had been at least five minutes he was looking for his Yunnie, yet it seemed an eternity for him. Panic started to overwhelm him, as tears were about to run on his cheeks. And he sobbed; he couldn’t help it. And like a four-year-old boy, he cried loudly while rubbing his eyes with his tiny fists. He lost his Yunnie, there was no way he could find him again.
Little Joongie turned his head to his right however he didn’t see a silhouette walking towards him.
“Hey Joongie!”
Startled, the latter lifted his face until his eyes recognized his best friend. The second after, he was already hugging him in a tight embrace without a warning. Jaejoong sobbed even more, he had been so scared that he couldn’t hold his tears once again.
On the other hand, little Yunho was completely dumbfounded. What happened? Why was his Joongie crying?
“Joongie…?” he murmured with concern when he pushed him back slowly. “Why Joongie cries?”
“Why… Yunnie a-away?” his best friend managed to ask him, still crying.
“Oh! Because Yunnie buys cookies for Joongie!” little Yunnie smiled while showing Jaejoong his little plastic bag.
“Joongie thought Yunnie was lost,” little Joongie sniffled while rubbing his eyes with his hands.
He showed his best friend his pout and murmured:
“Pabo.”
