Photographs from the Lakehouse.  There were 400 photos in 2 days!!! Which took a lot of time to go through.  I guess slodka also has them up at her website (a slightly different collection of our assorted photos). I must say, I've really enjoyed the World Cup so far.  And it just keeps getting better.  Somehow, yesterday I started watching the football at 8 in the morning, graduated to the pubs downtown at 11am, drank for 11 hours, and had an absolute blast.  Best football afternoon in years.  And Italy vs. USA in a crowded bar is not an experience to be ( Read more... )

Bennett's graduation party (last saturday, 5/20/06) was an incredibly weird affair, since it also acted as a retirement party for Nick, Bennett's dad.  It was catered by the Orpheum/Tornado's Steak House (since Bennett's brother runs both), with a full time pianist and was very very high class (unlike us young hoi polloi attendees).  Anyways, I ( Read more... )

Vomiting through christmas eve and christmas day is a bad thing. Fortunately I'm very ill, rather than just having drunk too much. It did make a great excuse to bail on the inlaws christmas though....
