The main reason people are unwilling to enter into the Darkness is something as basic as a fear of the dark.  It's not just children that fear the dark.  Just how it shows changes.  As a child, we fear the literal dark, afraid of monsters in the Darkness.  As we age, this changes to a fear of the unknown, but the essence is still the same.  ( Read more... )
