On Tuesday, I went back up to where I lost the wand. On the way up I saw a deer and took that as a sign I would find what I was looking for. I parked the car where I usually park it, and with my dog, walked the trail in to where I came to the trail the previous night. Tonight I went up in the hills with my puppy. On the way up, I stopped beside the road in an aspen grove. I found the perfect stick for a wand. It was part of a branch that had been cut off to clear it from the road and was still pretty fresh.
