Tired.
I know this because I initially spelled that "tird."
And this is really funny to me today.
Did exactly as much work as I needed to yesterday, came home, and vegged with Mr. 42. I made dinner somewhere in there and there were also cocktails. Our lemon tree's lemons make AWESOME cocktails.
Though I will say this: as much as I love Luxardo in an Aviation cocktail, it's a singularly gross taste to have in your mouth when you wake up the next day.
Note to self: brush teeth for longer.
We have a candidate here today who sneaked off to get coffee instead of meeting me, which is fine by me, actually, as my office is a mess after The Week Of Paying All The Bills. We have another candidate here on Tuesday.
BUT THERE IS A THREE DAY WEEKEND IN BETWEEN! WOO HOOO!!!
The to-do list for this weekend:
1. Sleep a lot.
2. Bach a lot.
3. Edit like crazy.
*sings* Run a lot! Do a lot! Never be lazy!
...or in my case, *sings* Walk a lot! Drink a lot! Sniff all the daisies!
Oh yeah, and we're going to our last San Diego Symphony concert of the season tonight. They're actually playing a short piece by Aaron Jay Kernis (*gasp* a living composer!), Stephen Hough is playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto #3, and then they're doing Brahms 2, which should be awesome.
Right. Gotta accomplish a thing or two, then go up and wait for catering. I think I may steal a sandwich instead of waiting for leftovers. I'm not quite counting the hours until I get to go home, but that's only because I don't trust my brain to count accurately.
And then food and puppies and Beethoven. Yay!
Love and Long Weekends to All!
