HAHAHAHAHA
So here's a funny story....
You may recall some posts I've written in the past regarding my neighbor below me --- the so-called "DJ" who likes to blast his music at all ungodly hours of the morning. Well, he's finally been evicted from the building and is supposed to be out by the end of this month.
Last week I was woken up at 2am by my doorbell ringing. I didn't get up right away, but I *did* hear my neighbors door open and close shortly after it happened. Fast-forward to a few days later. Once again, it's 2am. I just happened to have woken up at that time because I needed to pee. I do my business and then get back into bed. No sooner is the blanket over me when the doorbell rings. I ignore it. Then the knocking starts. So I get up and go to the door, look through the peephole and see my neighbor standing there. "What?" is all I say to him.
"Could you walk lighter? I can hear you walking around and shit", and then he walks away.
I must admit that I was at a total loss for words at that moment. One little trip to the bathroom and he's at my door complaining? And what about the first time he came around --- when I was in bed, SLEEPING?? My first thought was to start jumping around in my apartment....for all the sleepless nights I've had because of him. He wants to complain? Well then I'd better give him something to complain about! :)
I figure he's just harassing me because it's exactly his level to do so. I've been here nearly two years and never heard a peep from him regarding my walking around in the apartment (or lack thereof, given the times he coming up to complain). It's just funny when you think about the nerve he must have ---- causing so many people sleepless nights with his music, yet feeling entitled to wake someone up at 2am to complain about imaginary footsteps.
It could be that he was drunk....or high. Wouldn't put it past him.
