Good news and bad news regarding the apartment viewing yesterday......
Bad news: The landlady completely forgot that someone else had already put in an application for the bachelor suite. She felt really bad about it, but I wasn't upset at all. She takes care of two buildings and has a lot on her plate. It happens! She showed me the suite --- it's not big, by any means, but it's definitely comfortable enough for someone like me. If it so happens that the other person's application gets denied, I'll be next on the list to apply for it.
Good news: I am the first person on her list if any 1 bedroom suites open up.
