New Car is found!!!!
We went to buy my new car yesterday... Not sure how long the picture will stay on their website for, but its still up today.
A lovely metallic sky blue Corsa, 2001 so its a 51 plate, power steering!!!!! central locking!!!! and an airbag!!!!! No CD player (yet) but we're seeing to that. All in all a successful little trip! A little more than I wanted to pay for it, but it really is a good deal on such a new car, and its not like I couldn't afford it.
I will have to save like a trooper to replenish my account in time for the wedding and especially the Minimoon... We want to go to Iceland to see the Aurora Borealis, but that won't be until Feb '09 so we're going on Minimoon just after the wedding, at the moment its a decision between Whitby, Northumberland or Dublin. I need to collect all the information and get a decision made I think!
Mum is sorting the car in the next week... then I need to design a wedding cake, visit the reception to finalise menu, seating arrangements, timings and hotel rooms for guests and see the florist before the end of Jan... which is about when the invites need to go out too! My ring has been cast into gold and needs to be shaped and polished, which will involve leaving my engagement ring there too so it can be matched and fitted! Things in general are starting to come together, but its going to be a busy next couple of months!
