NaNo Blues
So let's think about this logically. I am at almost 16,000 words. Only 34,000 to go. Now, there are two weekends, but I will probably be working both Saturdays, so that is half a day each Saturday out. One Tuesday and Thanksgiving day. So, we are talking 3 full days and 3 half days I can write. If I can manage to write 8000 words on the full days, that is 24,000, then on each of the other days I will need to write about 3500 each of those days. Yes, it can be done. Day one, I wrote 8000 no problem. I can do this.
I just have to face it will probably be crap and it will need major rewriting. Okay, I am still working on rewriting last years story.
Muse decided today she didn't like the idea the heroine had no electricity in her cabin so I had to rewrite part of the story already. I ended up with an extra almost 200 words, so I'm not going to complain.
Problem is, muse has this idea for a new OF involving a fairy princess. I really don't want to start over at 0 with the limited time. I told muse finish NaNo, and I'll let her free on the fairy princess story even before I start rewrites.
Bine suggesting firing my muse and hiring a new one. Anyone know where I could get a new one? This one is very temperamental and stubborn. She wants only to write what she wants and it is frustrating. Hmmm, maybe I should bribe her with working on one of my WIPs. She seems to be ignoring them lately.
Oh, and I have in hand, my tickets for New Moon at midnight. I picked them up today and the lady told me they sold out 11 screens and added a 3 AM show which is sold out too. It is going to be insane.
Okay, must get to bed. Work again tomorrow.
