Sometimes, labeling a fear isn't a bad thing; the change in actions from reflexes to responses can still be framed in a healthy, positive manner that invites growth on multiple fronts.
I just wish it didn't always feel like I don't know which interpretation to trust, and that trying to hold both in my head simultaneously didn't feel so much like wading into a pool full of eels.
