nah, he's taller, and at least for a little while longer, has more hair ;-)

(although if you'd like to discuss collecting the perks that go with Being Matthew, i'm happy to have that conversation... *weg*)

*grin*

Are you going to be at KG?

certainly not this year; we fly out for scotland on friday the 3rd. and now that the dates for pennsic have shifted forward by a week, KG falls squarely into the middle of it, so i dunno when i'll be able to finally make it to one :(

i'll try not to take your innocent-sounding question as any indication that maybe i should get my hopes up for... things :)

Probably for the best. What I *was* getting your hopes up for was actually talking face to face which I think we haven't done... ever? (Certainly not for any extended length of time.)

nope, just the once and very superficially on our first and only real-time meeting, chez mycrazyhair and whynotsteve.

face to face conversational opportunity rates highly for me, too.

Indeed. face-to-face is good.

Pensic is that soon? No wonder everyone at the party on Friday couldn't shut up about it.

*nods*

apparently because of changes to schooling dates in the States, and changes to teachers' preparation times, pennsic now starts the last weekend of july instead of the first weekend of august, so Land Lottery is now july 28. a lot of the early-birders from around here will be heading out friday the 27th.

Hm
I better run down A_____ and get some answers before she vanishes then.

And there are a number of other differences in the details. But there is enough similarity to be interesting.

I was reading this thinking, "Man, do all men named Matthew have this issue?"

LC's name is not Matthew, in spite of his apparent identity-crisis at the head of this comment thread ;-)

Yeah, and it hurt like a bitch. ;-) Every time you thought, "It's not important that I call her when I said I would; she doesn't really care about this phone call," I thought, "He's completely forgotten that he said he would call; he doesn't really care about me."

Yeah, and it hurt like a bitch. ;-)

I'm sure it did. And I am sorry.

i'll pose to you the same questions i posed to blk below:

why do you automatically jump to "he doesn't care"? are there no other options or explanations for the person's actions? why do you automatically assume the worst?
