Woohoo! Naomi Novik's new book comes out this summer; I really have to get in gear and read her last one... Also, I got new zip disks yesterday: The Time Machine (H.G. Wells classic), and 10.5 (an actual disaster-of-the-week movie I haven't seen yet!

On another note, we signed up for Zip. And the coolest thing? They have a category for disaster movies! I was so excited!!! I can watch every bad B movie in the "disaster of the week" category that I've ever heard of, and then some! I'm in heaven;

I watched Superstorm! It was quite different than I expected... Is there a category for tv (british miniseries) with a B-movie plot/premise, but that takes itself a little too seriously to be a true B-movieTV series, and is filmed like a serious drama? I watched another one of my "disaster of the week" movies this weekend: Absolute Zero... A scientist in Miami working on a theoretical model for the reversal of the poles discovers that, in theory, it might be a catastrophic event rather than a slow process. so, i broke down and bought some more movies. i got Volcano (an underground volcano under LA becomes active), Waterborne (a suspected attack contaminates LA's water supply, and the city is in turmoil), and Force of Impact (an asteroid on course for earth). I'm such a dork.

Well, today was a weird day...

First, I had to dress up for an interview at school, and I didn't do laundry, so I had to wear a SKIRT!  Then, one of the student's that sits in the third seat away from me in class complained to the prof that she couldn't hear the lectures when I typed my notes, and could the prof please  ask me to stop. Well, despite my best intentions, there will not be a full review of "Shark Attack 3: Megalodon" this weekend. Although the plot seemed B -movie-ish from the description, this movie doesn't even come close to qualifying as a B-movie - and I lvoe to watch bad B-movies!
