perian found a British TV series/mini-series for me called Super Storm that is by the same people who did Super Volcano. It's a BBC production, filmed in Montreal about a team of scientists learning ways to divert "super" tornadoes, etc... Eventually, they are faced with using their theories to attempt diverting a big storm away from Miami. However, if it fails, it could cause serious flooding in some of the poorer states. Faced with the dilemma, they disband and end the project when they realize that diverting a storm away from one area means diverting it to another. The cheese factor increases when someone gets a hold of their data and uses it to divert the storm. Now, it's headed for New York, and has gained speed and momentum, and is even stronger than before, and the team needs to find a new way to divert this superstorm before it's too late!
It sounds totally cheesy and I think I'm in love with it from the description... and then she mentioned that JR Bourne is one of the lead actors! Martouf!
