But on the plus side I am going to Best Buy to wasted my $50 gift certificate .. well, not waste, spend ... I want to buy the original Superman I & II films which are on special $7.99 each =)

So the Hockey FA period kicked into Full Swing yesterday ...
The Rangers signed Matt Cullen, he of the Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes who had a kick ass game 7. We do need centers, the team was at the bottom in face offs and they need quality scoring from people other than Jagr and Petr Prucha ... Let's hope that we resign Petr Sykora, so far no one else has. I am not too worried about our Restricted FA's such as Jed Ortmeyer or Dominic Moore because other teams would have to give up draft picks for them and there is some rumors that we might have matched qualifying offers to all of them with the exception of Marcel Hossa but that the team is just not releasing any details yet and because they are Restricted they do not have to release details just yet ....
I never really thought that Patrick Elias would be a Ranger so I am not surprised that he's resigned with the Devils. I am surprised that Lou L. gave him not only a 7 yr deal but a No-Trade Clause, seems very un-Lou like to me.
I did want Jay McKee in a Rangers uniform, he was great for Buffalo all year but now the Blues have him. I am SO HAPPY that the Bruins and not us overpaid for Chara. We still need defensive help though, we haven't resigned Rozival and even if we did we need some quality D Men, at least two because I doubt any of the young prospects will be ready for this year.
