We got up earlier than our usual check out time on Friday, and got on the road to Chicago - once again, reports of winter weather were greatly exaggerated (though it was COLD, and WINDY...but the snow was largely done). Well, the trip *really* started on Wednesday, but that consisted of getting on the road and collapsing in the hotel room once we got to Kent, so it barely counts. For all the winter weather warnings, we didn't see any snow until we pulled into the parking lot of the hotel.
