I've sold another book on Green Metropolis.  It's so easy to put books on - takes about 2 minutes compared to a lot longer with ebay - and almost all paperbacks sell for a flat rate, making the seller £3.  If you have a lot of books you wish to sell but not a whole load of time to spend fiddling around on ebay, then this is the site for you!

Got the car serviced this morning (oh, the joy of a company car....take it in, collect courtesy car, spend morning driving nice 2.2l diesel Mondeo, collect car, pay not a penny), tidied house in preparation for arrival of friend Sarah from North Africa and friend Brian from Chippenham, shopped for food and prepared curried bean and vegetable ( Read more... )

I overdid the melatonin last night (deliberately) to assure a good night's sleep, which meant that I slept in until a time so late that I don't dare even type the numbers.

I slept really badly last night, which wasn't good, but I did have a reasonably nice experience being awake.  I often listen to audiobooks, comedy shows etc. on my iPod (with cute little speakers) in bed before going to sleep and had just finished The Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy.
