Sushi
I went out to Mizu's for Sushi last night with jfrog78. Jfrog78 does not like sashimi...but he tried some. It's a texture thing...not a flavor thing...so I don't hold out much hope that he'll every be a sashimi lover.
That's OK, I ate a shashimi plater for 2 mostly by myself. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Note, the 2person platter plus one hand roll would be a good meal.
We shared another sushi role and Mel made us two hand rolls (one each).
The roles were amazing. It looks like Mel has some help now from a guy who gets what it means to talk to customers AND can make sushi 'Mel-style'. I'm hopeful this will keep him from buring out and leaving us again. :)
It was great to see him again, wonderful food and man did I miss the atmosphere at the sushi bar! Not sure if jfrog78 is a convert, but that's OK, we had good conversation.
Oh, and before you ask: yes vanderbolt knew I went on a date with jfrog78...he was working on a writing project and my (that jfrog is also in) was canceled.
Hey: how do I set up a macros for entering in the lj code to create a link each time you want to refer to an lj user?
