Security.
Got off the train today in Seattle and there were at least a dozen folks in DHS or TSA uniforms waiting on the platform. Can I just tell you that this does 100% the exact opposite of making me feel secure. Had then been in plain clothes, I probably wouldn't have noticed it. But seeing so many men and woman in uniforms lined up on the platform opposite the flow of traffic to check out the train I just left...that just flat out freaks me out.
I'm waiting to hear more, I wasn't planning on taking the train home tonight because of an appointment that Matt and I have together...but I kind of want to now, just to find out what the hell all those people were doing there this morning. Not that anyone would necessarily tell me anything...but the normal train staff is very kind about answering questions from trainsfolk.
