to do on my day off
Grocery shop: the list includes: milk, storage containers, some veggies of some kind (I hope organic), and cereal, there's more stuff..but that gives you an idea of what I'm going for.
Clean house: started yesterday, still need to sort through and put away lots of stuff (hence the mention of storage containers above).
Work more on our 'holiday cards': we have cards, we have a message, we just need to get addresses on things and such. Jan. 20 ish isn't too late, is it?
Play with kittens: while the toilet training is going well, it is slow. Toby seems to have lost the ball that we play fetch with and no substitutes are accepted. Toby has also become a very good jumper...his favorite landing spot is human backs and shoulders. We are working to correct this since it's not nearly as cute if you aren't wearing a thick sweater. Any suggestions are welcome.
Research for England: Matt and I managed to make a google my maps of spots in England that we would like to see. They span a greater distance than we had hoped, forcing us to rethink our strategy if we are going to see them all. It's starting to look like this trip will be limited to England (no Whales, no Scotland, etc.) and a good portion of it will be spent in the countryside and traveling. I do hope we can practice driving on the opposite side of the road before we get on the expressway.
Oh, at 11am I also have to be here to have the stove man come check and fix our stove.
Off to call the sink man to see if he has free time today to fix my sink.
