One love, one heart, give thanks and praise to the Lord and I will feel alright

They say deaths come in threes. Well: Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson. All within one week and the last two just today!!! I think I'm more sad about Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett, to be honest. Really I just feel bad for MJ because that man had A LOT of demons, mentally, personally, and emotionally. Perhaps his mind is finally at peace. Also, King of Pop gets to hang with King of Rock and Roll (provided MJ went to Heaven, provided Divine forgiveness of possible pedophilia)? That's a little cool, if you think about it. When I go, I'm having tea and crumpets with Jane Austen, William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Beethoven, and Winston Churchill. Hell. Yes.

Despite the deaths of international icons, today was a good day. I worked 1-7:30 with Tricia, which is always a good time! I was supposed to work until 9, but things just DIED at around 7, so I was given reprieve. This pleases me. Now I'm going to read some more Little Dorrit. I'm at the bit where Arthur Clennam finally sees the girl he loved in the early days of his youth, only to discover that she has gone WOEFULLY and WHOLLY to seed, which makes him very sad. To be honest, it was one of the funnier moments in the mini series, just because of the look on Matthew McFayden's face. XD
