When I get to know him, we'll find more things to say
I am officially OBSESSED with the song "Stories" from the BatB sequel, Enchanted Christmas! It's just one of those songs where you hear it and you go "Ah, yes, this is MY song." It's definitely on my best songs ever list. I think I've listened to it even more than "Black Balloon" and "I'm Still Here!" It might even beat out "Hey Ya" and "I Believe in a Thing Called Love." Those two are not MY songs, but they are among the most badass of all time, in my opinion.
Britt and I went to lunch today to discuss our trip. We're thinking of leaving on a Friday night and returning on the Saturday of the next week. I'm going to ask Erin if there's any way we can use her time share in Kissimme for the week, so then we can just rent a car to get to the parks and back. We'll be spending the majority of our time at Disney of course, but we also plan to hit Universal, maybe for an afternoon. If Kayla's spring break matches ours, she's coming too! My parents would like to go, it's just going to be a matter of having enough money and time. Hopefully they can, as they've also always wanted to go. :)
We didn't do much this evening. We had a little dinner and went for a nice long walk. I had forgotten how much I LOVE walking. It really makes me feel quite good. Also, I don't want my ass to eventually resemble something that has gone quite wrong! I may not be able to brag about my looks, but, if I may say, I had a pretty great ass at one time, and it would be very nice to reclaim that little honor!
I've nearly finished the Poe book. We've finally come to some sort of insight as to his death!!!! I'm pretty excited to see how the author wraps this one up.
My grandmother brought us some Bolo na panela today. It was kind of sad, because my grandfather would ALWAYS make us some, and his way was very, very tasty indeed. My grandmother's? Well, not so much, I'm saddened to say. It made me sad because I realized we won't be getting any more bolos like we used to. Just another little thing to add to the "Facts that make my chest ache list." Ah well. Such is life, I suppose.
