Thirteen worries on my mind

1. Nappies, Nappies, Nappies
   I am still trying to work out how we will manage having two kids in nappies. We obviously want to continue using cloth, but in buying Alice's set we hadn't anticipated having two in nappies at the same time.

YAY for good advice!
I went to my local ABA meeting yesterday because their discussion topic was "Breastfeeding and Pregnancy." I was very happy I went. As you probably know, I only know one other person who has been in this position and she weaned her child immediately on to dairy formula which I wasn't feeling was right for us. I have just learned that I say "WOW" all the time. I didn't realise it until it became the latest word Alice has learned!! She says Mama, Dada,  Nana, bye-bye and Wow.

SLEEP!!

Honestly, it is SO glorious. I had been wondering how all you mums get so much done every day. I feel so much more efficient and capable after some sleep.

The last 3 nights Alice has:

• Gone to bed about 8.30 (9.30 last night but near enough)
• Woken just after midnight
• Grizzled for a bit then put herself back to sleep before I get to her. Or if I ( Read more... )

Do you know how hard it is to take a passport photo of an 8 month old baby?? I can hardly get her to stay still long enough to get it in focus let alone get her to open her eyes, close her mouth and assume a neutral facial expression!!

That is how many hours straight Alice slept last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, *I* didn't sleep 10 hours because I had to get up and check she was ok every few hours :P
