(no subject)
So, interesting night, and it hasn't even began!
Work was grande. Got my sister's present (not at work - I don't think she'd appreciate a spatula the same way anyone else would). My boss called halfway through my shift to ask me if I'll open tomorrow, because she's at my aunt's house, intoxicated. I told her that I might be going out tonight, and didn't think I'd be in any condition to open tomorrow morning, so that sent off a round of "Ooooooh, underage drinking!!!" amidst the inebriated, middle aged woman with whom she was drinking, my mother included. So my mum gets on the phone, I suspect also under the influence, and TELLS me I'm working tomorrow morning.
So that's where I'll be at 9:45 tomorrow morning!
It took me forever to close because someone hid like, 400 dollars in twenties, and I had to call Sandi (the drunk boss) at my aunt's party to find out where it was. I read quite a bit of Animal Farm at work, though, for my english ISU, so I'm not *as* behind anymore.
Then I get home, antsy and wanting to go out, to get a call from my sister's friend, Barb, at 10:
Barb: "Beth, do you have any money Jenn can have for a cab home?"
Me: "No, I don't have any cash, and mum's not home. Tell her to look elsewhere."
So, everything was fine, chatting away on msn when the phone rings again, and it's Barb. Again.
Barb: "Umm, Jenn told me to tell you to call Haley or something. She NEEDS to come home."
Me: "Haley can't get the car tonight, and why the hell would I get one of my friends to go pick her up? Why the hell does she need to come home so much?"
Barb: "Well, I'm not sure I'm supposed to tell you, but if you guess, and get it right, I could say yes .. "
Me: "Barb, what the fuck happened?"
Barb: "Okay, well, your sister was drinking, a lot, and is now in the bathroom crying and trying to throw up."
Me: "... Oh Jesus."
Barb: "So, could you get some money for a cab?"
Me: "Where is she?"
Barb: "The Spill."
Me: "Well that's classy. Tell her to call the cab. And get her some water and bread before you put her in the car."
So, I had to ask my grandparents to loan me some money before I can go to an ATM. And Jenn just walked in the door. Oh, she looks classy. I'd better go get her some tylenol and water, or hit her or something.

Yes! It was such an amazing year, and I'm not even being sarcastic this time.

There are too many to name .. looking up at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or looking down at sexy, sexy Steven Tyler at the Aerosmith concert are among the best, though.

I don't really know. It was pretty devoid of dissapointments. OH! Waking up after that one party of Amy's covered in my own vomit. Yeah, that would definately be it. *nods emphatically*

Downtown at the battle of the bands! And at Galaxy, watching A Series of Unfortunate Events - "Just barely out of his Osh-Kosh BeGosh!"

Um, I don't think so. I definatley didn't stop cracking my knuckles, though my grades have certainly improved. Most of them, anyway.
