This Summer . . . Spiderman Goes GOTH
Dammit, so now Spiderman is all gonna be shopping at Hot Topic and wearing a lip-ring and listening to Good Charlotte and Panic at the Disco and dating that mermaid from Shamalamalamalmaynsnyn's new movie. I miss Spiderman 2, where he was Job. And Jesus. Jobus. Like Jebus, but not the personal deity of a formerly funny cartoon character.
How about France today, eh? I would never have picked them to beat Spain 3-1 - and I really didn't expect them to beat Spain at all. Crazy. Not a bad quarterfinals though. The Italy-Australia match ended up as a disgusting travesty, with another horrible ref-decided ending, but it seemed like Italy would have pulled it off eventually anyway - just hate to see such a tight game end on a dumb ref call.
I'm thinking Germany meets Ukraine and England maybe, just maybe, meets France (since they're starting to kick things into gear), and then I'm thinking England and Germany meet in a little final I like to call "Josh's places he would love to visit again/live get to fight it out for Football Supremacy" or "Anglo-Saxon-Barbarian street fight, take one million" (since these motherfuckers have been fighting each other for god knows how long).
Things in Fort Worth are kinda coming to a close. Getting my wisdom teeth out shortly, got my car insurance taken care of, got my physical and TB test for school (I don't have TB, hooray!), etc.
