I have allergies.

I take an over-the-counter allergy medicine regularly, sometimes daily, sometimes every few days.

By trial-and-error, I have noticed a pleasant side-effect of one class of allergy medicine: my asthma seems to be positively affected.

Had to take a hit of Primetene Mist Wednesday night at bed time. Was wheezy. Happily has been a very long time since asthma has bothered me.

I started lightly wheezing and feeling restricted breathing at about 5pm, as I left work to go to the meeting. As time progressed, slowly and steadily, the asthma progressively became more severe ( Read more... )

Woke up at 2am this morning, wheezing. Took a 5mg generic Zyrtec, and two hits of Primitene Mist. Took a good 30min before felt better.

The Primitene Mist is a bit of a stimulant, so then could not get tired to fall back asleep. Instead fired up my PC and surfed the 'net. Finally feeling tired, but now it is 6am!

Frustrating

It has been a week now. Still needing to take my Primatene Mist once or twice daily, and one or twice at bed time.
