back yard wood pergola - re-staining project - entire roof now re-stained
Have finally, _finally!_ finished re-staining all the wood surfaces of the pergola roof. Top, all sides, and bottom of the roof wood has a coat of stain. The side that faces the sky has two coats of stain.
Purchased another gallon of stain, as well. Now using gallon four(?), if I am keeping track correctly.
With the entirety of the roof completed, have now moved to re-staining the next lower level of the pergola: the 2inch by 6inch cross beams that support the roof (the roof wood rests on top of them).
Have also started to use an automotive drop light / shop light and extension cord, to be able to continue staining even once it gets dark.
