Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh
Science fiction.
Starts out a bit rough emotionally, for me. Gets interesting, then at about half way through the story, a further interesting twist.
The interesting twist is that a main character is able to reset reality so that a terrible event never occurred.
Kinda intense and grim for most of the story. Ends on a positive note. Overall liked it, but the beginning was emotionally rough on me.
