I wish there was a local support group that I knew of for "Parents with Special Needs Dependents."
As this year my special needs dependent became over 18yrs of age, and all that comes with now being over 18yrs of age.
I do not want to be embarrassed, nor embarrass them: So I cannot, dare not, accidentally "journal" and cite details.
In this modern world it is too easy to have things show up and be shared, that shouldn't be accessible to those that would bully, or shame.
I wish I had someone, or someones to share/vent with. To get support, or be consoled by.
I will always try to do my best for them with the limited resources I have, but I worry.

Also, one elderly relative, that is retired, had been living in a mortgage-paid situation, and has now decided to move.
Their new place has a higher cost than where they used to live, so now, instead of simply just moving and continuing to live mortgage-free, they now have a mortgage.
It's stressing me out, as I worry for them now, as well as for myself, and my special needs offspring.
