I have a general idea of what woodmen do, however, I would like to know more about the ins-and-outs of their lifestyle during the time of Maurice. How long they tend to spend in one location, their living conditions, any available slang terminology, etc. Anyone got any links?

Also, has anyone made a timeline of the story?

I stumbled across this drawing and it got me wondering about illustrated Maurice fanart. I know there has been at least two posted here in mr_edna_may, but has anyone else spotted more?

Maybe we should have a scavenger hunt and share out results.

For those who have read E.M. Forster's abandoned epilogue to Maurice...do you think he made the right decision to cut it?
Forster himself said it gave "universal dissatisfaction."

I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts.

Hello @ all, I've an suggestion for this wonderful community: What if we started to use tags in the entries, stating whether the post concerns fan art, chapter discussion, articles, fan fiction, introduction posts etc... Hello. New member, age 17, from Finland. Have read Maurice once about a year ago, watched the movie today and fell ttly in love. °__°

I read the book for the first time a few months ago and became a bit obsessed, and I watched the film for the first time last night - I'm still a bit giddy, actually.
