Beta-reading?
I'm currently working on a Maurice fic for lgbtfest , and I was wondering if any of you lovely people would be interested in beta-reading it?
The fic is Clive-centric (inspired by this prompt: teenage!Clive, trying to negotiate gay identity in the absence of anything more positive than the Wilde trial and more recent than ancient Athens). It isn't done yet, although it (hopefully) will be soon, but I thought I'd ask well in advance. :-)
Basically, I'm looking for help when it comes to getting the historical details right (so as to avoid any anachronisms), as well as the usual stuff (characterisations, spelling, grammar, punctuation etc.). I like getting constructive criticism, so you don't have to worry about hurting my feelings when giving it.

ETA: Oh, and the fic isn't going to be terribly long -- only about 1000-1500 words. :-)
