Neil happened to be headed down the stairs to go out for some fresh air and maybe some snacks when he happened by and since it was Parker, he felt the need to pause, grin and give an appreciative, gentlemanly whistle.

Parker spun in front of the door, then dropped him a half-curtsy. "Thanks, Neil. Are you on your way to the not-prom?"

"Good evening, Parker," Neil said with a smile.

"No, I'm afraid I am an upper classman and thus forbodin from attending."

He'd been a bit bummed when he'd read the flyer a little closer because he had actually been thinking of attending.

"You look gorgous."

"Ah, so you're not going to Prom?" She grinned at the compliment. "And thanks. I just hope that the masks Isabel has on hand look good with this dress. And that it doesn't get too cold."

"Prom strikes me as something you should attend with someone and as I explained to Tori, back where I come from, it's such a formal affair.." Neil gave his head a slight shake.

"Bah, you'll be too busy dancing to worry about the weather, I imagine your dance card will have it's own waiting list."

"Understandable. And there's always next year, for you." Parker smiled, and couldn't resist another twirl. "I'm glad you think so. I'd tell you to save me a dance, but I guess we'll have to do something at Caritas before I leave, since you won't be there."

"Or catch me at the Nest. I'll look forward to it," Neil said with a smile as he gave Parker a very smart bow from his waist, as he would if he were asking her to dance.

"Count on it." Parker grinned and shimmied away, then shut the door as she went looking for shoes.

Neil blinked but then chuckled good naturedly as he had the door shut in his face.

Never get between a young woman and her prom preparations, a lesson well learned.

"Have a good night!" He called through the door and then turned to head down the hall.
