Zero burst into Parker's room wearing a bathrobe over her dress and carrying her shoes and makeup bag. "My hair will do NOTHING. HELP. AAAAAH."

"Aaaaah!" Parker aah'd back at her. "Okay. Sit down. this happens every time. Relax." She grinned and turned on the curling iron and got out the mousse, looking thoughtful. "Anything particular in mind?"

"I don't know. Not down. Down is ew."

[mparkerceo]

"Down is ew," Parker repeated, then stopped to admire the dress. "Oooo. Claude does good work. Hair clips?" She offered, holding up some jeweled black enamel ones. "They'll match."

Dres s la Zero studied the clips for a moment. "They're also sparkly. Very swerval. Let's use those."

"Cooooool." Parker combed out Zero's hair and wet it, then started twisting it up into a knot, picking out tendrils as she worked. "I am trying not to get bummed that this is the last dance."

"I don' wanna leeeeeeeeeeave. Which, y'know, I never thought I'd say about high school."

"Tell me about it. Kicked out of the last two places, remember?" Parker twirled one of the strands around her curling iron, then grabbed the hairspray and spritzed it. "Ha. Perfect. And much as I want to go to Oxford-- can't we take everyone with us, and the Island too?"

Zero reached for her mask and put it on before looking in the mirror for final adjustments. "If taking over the world falls through, you could do hair," she teased. "Yes, please."

"It's my fall-back plan, in case the empress-of-all-I-survey thing doesn't work out," Parker said solemnly. "God, you look adorable."

Zero mock-glared. "I wasn't going for adorable!"

[mparkerceo]

"And yet you achieve it effortlessly, along with terminally dangerous." Parker grinned, and spritzed the curls in place one last time. "You've got hair to die for. Go knock Peter dead."

Zero glanced up from putting on her shoes and said, "No, I don't want him dead, then he can't--" most of the blush was hidden by her mask. "Never mind."

After knocking on Zero's window for a few minutes without a response, Peter decided to try Parker's.

He crawled over to the outside of Parker's room (without looking in because that would be creepy), rapped on the window, and hung a sugary giftoutside the window from a webline. With it was a note reading:

I don't care, you get flowers. Tasty flowers.

Then he scurried up the building.

Zero pulled up the webline and read her note. "My boyfriend rocks," she gloated softly. "Parker! Peter gave me cookies!"

"Your boyfriend *totally* rocks," Parker admitted, leaning out the window to look for him. "And he gets huge style points. Ooo, yum."
