I find it weird that "homonyms" have been given a more complicated taxonomy compared to what we were taught with when I was younger. It was deeply ingrained in us that they refer to "words which sound alike but are not spelled the same way" like "dear" and "deer." But now, they're defined as "words which are pronounced and spelled the same way, ( Read more... )
