1. So, back on
Day 5 of my positivity posts, I was trying to link or embed to some strange art on campus, and was having problems figuring out what Flickr had changed about their coding. Finally figured it out and got it fixed, so there's a viewable picture there now, if people want to go look.
So, I feel good about that, even if I feel dur about not figuring it out until now.
2. POI!
Aw, Reese had to cancel his date with Finch. So sad. :-) I do love that they were meeting there so that Reese could trick him into tracking the new Number. I wonder if he deliberately set the "date" when he knew he couldn't make it because Finch might have walked out if he was there, but Reese knew he COULDN'T walk away if he was the only person who could help someone in trouble.
I did love Finch getting drawn in to the Number and her life and trying to help her.
And I love it when the "genius" characters are not the only ones allowed to be smart. Of COURSE Reese would be able to recognize a code when he saw it. And I loved Fusco being the one to figure out the letter code.
I also loved seeing the interior of the new digs and Harold showing them to Reese.
Not sure how I feel about them choosing to leave Claire to her own devices at the end. They've certainly not worried as much about people's free choice before, even when they are determined to be destructive/self-destructive. On the one hand, it is her choice. On the other: Leon.
And I need to go back and try to figure out which was the Machine and which was Samaritan. I'm afraid I wasn't quite awake enough when I watched this morning, and got confused, especially at the end. Was that the Machine and Root saving her? I was assuming yes, because I didn't think Samaritan, at this point, had that much autonomy. If it was the Machine/Root, and interesting development for the future, in the usual touching/creepy way of the Machine. If it was Samaritan, just creepy.
3. I was just handed a gingerbread cupcake. I shall stare at it until I can snack this afternoon.
