Both volumes of Gunnerkrigg Court are my final impulsive use of money at least until the end of the summer. I doubt I'll be able to SAVE any money, but I can at least not use as much.

I had applied for FLAS for the summer so I could take second year Thai and then start third year in the fall, but I didn't get it so I can't afford to attend the summer program at all. I got a raise effective starting on the next billing period and I'm SUPER STOKED ABOUT IT. It's only 50 cents, but that's A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT FOR ME RIGHT NOW, and it's "in appreciation of the quality of my work." The bad news is I got a D in Buddhism.  Somehow.  Apparently I wrote a 65% research paper and got 0 participation points.  Which is...crap.  Total crap.  And I got a C in Hinduism (which I totally earned x_x), making my semester GPA 2.83.  But my cumulative GPA is 3.53, so I get to keep my tuition waiver and scholarship ( Read more... )
