I had dinner with my supervisor and his wife yesterday, and had a lovely time. I went there in order to get lilacs for the garden (he has a bunch overgrowing his yard), and they are currently trying to find a foothold in my garden. My neck is killing me. It's always worse in the mornings, after I've slept. I have discovered also that somehow my duvet is not quite big enough for two people, unless we spend the night completely tucked against each other, which is nice but not what happens once I fall asleep.
