New York City Marble Cemetery

The New York City Marble Cemetery was begun in 1831 and was the second non-sectarian burial ground in the City opened to the public. The nearby (and similarly named ) New York Marble Cemetery was the first. Graceland, Chicago

When I'm in Chicago and have some time, I try to stop at a cemetery. This trip, it was late in the afternoon, and Graceland was the only one open. I'd been there a few times before, but it's always nice, and I always find something new.

Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Ohio

I ended up at this cemetery after taking a wrong turn in Hamilton. I didn't even know the name of the town at the time. It was a very hot and humid day, and my lens fogged up after I got out of the car.
