Last night I saw this woman selling tamales by a 7-Eleven and thought, "Tamales sound good." I stopped and bought four. She asked me if I wanted mild or spicy. I wanted spicy, of course. I also asked if she had some salsa. She had some salsa verde which she said is also spicy. I went home and started eating them and was like:

This morning in the shower after the gym, I noticed that the toenail on my left big toe is starting to change colors. It looks like I damaged the nail bed while wearing my La Sportiva Nepal mountaineering boots last weekend. This means I'll probably end up losing the toenail again. Lovely. >_>

Went for a run this morning. On my cool-down lap around my complex, I ran into Jackie and Windy as they were heading off to work. With some of the mandatory evacuations upgraded to "pre-evac" status, her dad, grandparents, and uncle and aunt were all able to return to their undamaged homes. I went for a lunch ride today. As I was riding up Hancock Expressway near Delta Dr., I looked ahead at traffic (I was in the bike lane) when I heard a loud CRASH.
