On Saturday, I went to the "WWFM X: May the Fourth in Warminster, PA" geocaching event. It's part of the Worldwide Flash Mob, 536 events in 38 countries occurring at the same time. Did a lot of packing Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. This time I boxed up most of the computer peripherals and the wireless router because I was moving the wi-fi network to the house. Drove out in the rain. Good thing it wasn't raining or it had stopped raining in Delaware because that made it easier to unload the stuff. Spent the night there ( Read more... )

Did a mascot gig today at Kids Expo at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie. Of course, I started early so that I could squeeze in two geocaches on my way there. I had no idea where to park for the event but the municipal parking lot didn't seem too bad. Took the afternoon off to go to the Tri-State Meet, Greet, and Eat geocaching event at the Grill Restaurant in Matamoras, PA. The event is in the evening but ordinarily, I wouldn't be able to make it there in time if I headed out after work. It was a buffet-style dinner although the dishes were fairly simple.
