This afternoon, we laid down the remaining 5 rolls of insulation in the attic and took out the rest of the junk. That took care of the area over the kitchen and dining room. Lowe's bribed me with coupons so I got fresh insulation to replace the remnants of whatever used to be insulation in the attic. There was quite a bit of junk left by the previous homeowner in the attic and we had to clear that out before laying down the insulation.
