Holidays
Haven't posted much lately. Holiday stuff has me swamped. But it's mostly out of the way now. Harry had a lot of baking to get done for his family and I had to bake a bunch of cinnamon bread to give to folks at work. Between the two of us, we've thoroughly trashed the house. It's slowly coming back together.
Last weekend was a great one--snow, but not the huge storm we were supposed to get--a great night out Saturday with friends and then a fun brunch the next day. At the brunch I kept a low-profile, as the Bills-Browns football game was on and I was in a roomful of Bills fans. Being a Cleveland boy, I had my hometown pride on the line. The Browns, for a change, did not disappoint. But what a mess of a game.
Tonight I get my stuff together for the trip back home. Taking my nephew back to Cleveland with me for the holidays. Harry is going back later in the day. He gets back right after Christmas, but I'm staying a couple of extra days and getting back to Rochacha on Friday. Most of the time though, I'll be working on a grant. What else is new? I did not progress very far on it this week.
I'll have my laptop over the break, but no internet access at my parents' house. The HORROR! I'll have lots to catch up on when I get back.
