I was right. They cancelled his flight, BUT they've shoved everyone onto the late flight as I expected. He just called and said that they're boarding. But the bastards first announced that the flight was cancelled, THEN they told them to go to a new gate for seat assignment a little while later. Nothing like a quick dash of your hopes when you're exhausted in the airport. At least he's coming home tonight.
