Nightwish will be releasing a 20 minute song on their upcoming album.

Okay, now I like their epic songs just as much as the next Nighwish fan, but this is getting kind of ridiculous. lol

But I can't figure out which is worse, a 20 minute song, or having 2-3 songs that keep leading into each other on the album (where you pretty much need to listen ( Read more... )

 I was watching a playthrough of Little Big Planet 2 and a very familiar song starts playing. It took me a  minute to realize it was a Nightwish song.

:D  Nightwish just finished recording all of their drum tracks. I can't wait for the new album! I wonder if Within Temptation has started recording yet; they better, especially since they've pushed back their album already. lol

Jukka, Nightwish's drummer, just had a baby girl with his wife/girlfriend (idk if he's married or what), and Emppu, the guitarist, was quoted on t heir Facebook page as having said, "Great lovers have baby girls!"

LOL

I've been listening to Tarja Turunen's new single, Enough, and I think it's a good thing that she and Nightwish had a falling out. She's a great singer, but in Nightwish, she tended to sound the same in most songs. Now that she's gone solo her vocals  are more dynamic.
